Responsibilities will include :
Leading the charge on building new credit businesses for merchants...
Functional Expertise :
- Develop astute understanding of our key markets, customer segments, emerging trends in fintech and develop BharatPe's thought process on evolving opportunities for lending in the merchant ecosystem
- Develop hypothesis and priorities for deep-dive into new business opportunities and establish a clear view on "Where-to-play" and "Right-to-win"
- Build and test initial business models and establish proof of concept for new businesses for us to foray into
- Develop processes, tech journeys, underwriting processes, partnerships etc. to enable scale in selected lending businesses
Interaction
- Work closely with risk, operations, tech and sales team to test new business hypothesis and launch pilots
- Develop strategic partnerships with lenders, affiliates, other players in the ecosystem that will be critical for launching new businesses
- Problem Solving
- Be able to assess underlying opportunities for new products in our existing markets and develop solutions that cater such unmet needs with high degree of success
- Be able to identify key experiments to run, generate learnings for improvement and iterate processes, product flows and offerings to enable higher off-take and conversion rates
To succeed in the role

Qualification & Experience
- Graduate or Post-Graduate from a Tier 1 College
- Graduate - 8-10 years of experience | MBA - 6-9 years of experience (Fintech experience mandatory required )
- 2-3 years of startup experience
- 1-3 years of consulting
Skills & know-how:
Solid problem solving capabilities - you are able to identify problems, break them down, identify root causes and build solutions that can be both tactical and/or strategic
Communication and Stakeholder management - you are able to present your point of view cogently and are able to engage effectively with everyone from external partners to CXOs.
A Growth & Tech-first Mindset - you are aggressive, have a 10x approach and like to build for scale
As a marketing leader understanding of fintech business model in India is highly valued for this role.
