Berar Finance - Vice President - Finance

The Company is a deposit taking non-banking finance company ("NBFC") focused on 2-wheeler, used car financing, personal loans & LAP. The Company is a fast growing NBFC and is backed by a private equity firm. The Company aims to diversify into additional secured and unsecured lending products over the next few years.

It is currently looking to hire a strong finance professional for the position of Manager/Sr. Manager/V.P Finance who will be managing its finance, accounts and taxation (both direct and indirect) related functions based out of Nagpur, Maharashtra. The incumbent will play a critical role in implementing the financial business strategy. The entire accounting and finance, day to day cash management and statutory audit teams will report to him/her.

Key Responsibilities:

Primary responsibility would be supervising finance, accounts and taxation functions;

- Preparation of Financial accounts as per I GAAP and IND AS

- Assist in liaising with Banks and Financial Institutions for setting up credit limits, short term & long-term borrowings and investments and fulfilling all the data requirement of all these FIs;

- Managing investor relations including investor reporting and assisting in equity fund raising activities;

- Representing the Company before institutional investors, PE firms, mutual funds, banks, rating agencies, debenture trustees, registrars, brokers/intermediaries;

- Ensuring prudent management of the Company's cash, asset liability mismatch, flows and associated financial risk exposures in line with Board approved directives/strategies;

Qualifications and Requirements:

The Applicant should have the following experience/ qualifications:

- CA/ MBA (Finance) with at least 2-4 years of post-qualification experience NBFC/Small Finance Bank/HFC/MFI industries;

- Experience in evaluating and implementing Financial & Management Reporting Systems;

- Good interpersonal skills and ability to engage with the various stakeholders; and
