Job Purpose :
- Consumer friendly financing is a key aspect of making used 2 -wheeler buying a seamless experience. Introduction of right and convenient loan offerings will expand the category rapidly.
- Achieving this objective entails comprehensive strategic and execution responsibilities at BeepKart.
- BeepKart wants to bring onboard an ex-founder or a senior professional in fintech/lending to build and lead the Consumer Lending business unit.
Roles & Responsibilities :
1. Strategy Development:
- Overall responsibility for the P&L of the business unit- revenues, profitability and growth.
- Develop a strategic vision for the lending business at BeepKart with clear short term, medium term and long term goals along with roadmaps to achieve them.
- Driven by insights and execution, build competitive moats for the business.
2. Partnership Building:
- Devise category-first programs and take them to market successfully.
- Establish partnerships with lenders, negotiating terms and conditions to create mutually beneficial customized lending programs, engaging with credit bureaus etc.
- Collaborate and engage with compliance, legal, risk underwriting teams to ensure a compliant and robust portfolio.
3. Digital lending to improve user experience:
- Productize relevant user journeys to improve user experience & loan adoption through digital lending processes enabled by integrations between BeepKart and lenders.
- Optimize the lending funnel conversion at every step through various interventions.
4. Improving consumer awareness:
- Lead all user research initiatives to understand customer behavior.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to deliver organic and inorganic growth.
- Improve awareness among users through detailed user journey understanding.
- 10-12 years of experience in a reputed bank/NBFC and/or a few years in building a fintech lender or the lending unit of an e-commerce company.
- MBA from a premier institute/ CA
- Proven ability to build and drive a high quality organization.
- Thorough functional understanding of all aspects of consumer lending such as product, credit, compliance, sales and collections; preferably in auto finance.
- Deep analytical and problem solving skills.
- Proven track record of building successful lending programs and partnerships.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to drive initiatives from ideation to execution.
- Executive presence to inspire confidence and passion in internal and external audiences.
- Familiarity with the Indian 2-wheeler market and customer segments is preferred or as per prior experience
- will evolve in a start-up environment
