Role Mission: - This role is responsible to ensure Beam order to cash process is implemented with 100% compliance in the state. - The incumbent will establish sales objectives by creating a sales plan and business targets for territory and plan to support regional business, volume and market share objectives with inputs from Area Sales Managers and Executives reporting to this role. Role Responsibilities: - Develop and ensure implementation of sales strategies to deliver annual volume objectives of the region within budgeted costs - Deliver sales volume, product mix, and gross / net margins by keeping track of supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitor's activities. - Drive sales operational requirements & reporting; following up on results versus targets. - Work closely with dealers and distributors and assist them to promote the company's products. - Monitor sales development for On and Off premise channels, coach the team to maintain focus on both the channels - Ensure state teams are constantly educated in Beam code of conduct, local laws, product portfolio, sales of emerging products and multi-product sales, profitability, improved presentation strategies, competitive strategies, proper use and level of sales support, management of expenses and business/financial issues on contract - Actively undertake account management and development of existing customer base - Drive sales development initiatives like Visibility programs, Distribution expansion and efficiency building programs. In addition, help the immediate manager in designing / recommending market development initiatives basis competitor activities and market intelligence. - Ensure receivables are within agreed company norms, Credit Control is implemented while planning sales for the month and beyond. - Ensures market working norms are implemented as per Beam Sales Call process - Drive sales automation programs and data analysis using latest IT tools for superior results - Manage performance evaluation and appraisals for sales representatives. - Develop behavioural and disciplinary standards for employees. - Develop safe, positive and achievement-oriented working environment Qualifications & Experience: Should be a graduate with an MBA/PG Diploma in Sales & Marketing/Business Management with at least 10-12 years of prior experience in a reputed FMCG/Alcobev company KEY COMPETENCIES: - Organizational Competencies - Entrepreneurial Approach - Capability to create Innovative Solutions Role Specific Competencies - A proven track record in sales - Should have handled State level responsibility in previous assignments with good understanding of retail and wholesale channels - Team player with proven record of conflict management, problem solving & relationship management - High on Analytical skills Problem solving & Conflict management - Knowledge of and experience in the alcobev industry (trade, excise laws & distribution) will be preferred - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Self-motivated & with proven high levels of accountability - Ability to work to deadlines and/or under pressure and to remain calm - Analytical skills to positively impact the outcome - Proven capability to handle ambiguous situations - We believe in equal opportunities - We welcome applications from all members of society irrespective of age, sex, disability, sexual orientation, race, religion, or belief.
