BDO - Manager - Cyber Security

BDO in India is hiring for Cyber Security profile - Manager Role in Government Advisory team at Mumbai location.

Qualifications & Experience:

- 8+ years' experience in a team leadership role within the Cyber Security domain, with a focus on government & public sector clients including banks, PSU, Utilities, State Government etc

- Strong understanding of government regulations, compliance requirements, and security standards - RBI Master Directions, ISO 27001, OWASP top 10, SANS 25, Cert-In guidelines etc

- Demonstrated success in delivering complex Cyber Security projects on time and within budget.

- Excellent communication and presentation skills for engaging with clients and internal teams.

- Strategic thinking and the ability to drive business growth through pre-sales activities.

Responsibilities:

1. Delivery Management:

- Oversee the end-to-end delivery of Cyber Security projects, ensuring high-quality solutions and timely delivery.

- Collaborate with teams/leadership to mitigate risks and resolve issues during project execution.

- Technical Review of VAPT / Application Security / IS Audit Assignments & ensuring high quality delivery.

2. Strategic Leadership:

- Develop and execute strategic plans for the Cyber Security practice within government & public sector.

- Provide visionary leadership to drive growth, profitability, and client satisfaction.

3. Pre-sales and Business Development:

- Lead pre-sales activities, including proposal development, client presentations, and solution demonstrations.

- Work closely with the sales team to identify and pursue new opportunities within the government sector.

4. Client Relationship Management:

- Build and maintain strong relationships with government clients, understanding their unique needs and ensuring client satisfaction.

- Act as a trusted advisor, offering insights and solutions to address evolving cyber threats.

5. Team Leadership:

- Recruit, mentor, and manage a high-performing team of cybersecurity professionals.

- Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment, promoting continuous learning and development.

6. Compliance and Security Standards:

- Ensure adherence to relevant compliance standards and security best practices in all Cyber Security projects.

- Stay informed about the latest developments in cyber threats and security measures relevant to government environments.
