Responsibilities/Key Responsibility Areas
To build the leisure boating industry and to have Indians experience the joy of world class sailing. The Retail vertical is core to this vision. You will develop and create products and experiences relevant to the evolving Indian market and generate revenues through referential selling, online and social marketing, web based marketing, relationship based selling and partnerships. You will build the foundation of the customer base helping customers to evolve and upgrade. Retail and FIT Sales is a very strategic arm in terms of business value creation. Thus you will be responsible for
- Sell to HNIs and exceptionally discerning individuals and build a strong and perpetual customer base
- Achieve the retail revenue targets set - by leveraging the past customer base, creating new leads, upselling and building a strong reach and awareness
- Build a strong retail customer base and implement strategies to upsell and maintain and ensure future growth through repeat and longer term purchase. Persistent follow up of leads
- Customer satisfaction - maintain standards of product delivery and ensure highest levels of customer satisfaction
- Create awareness and reach both through means like online marketing, social web marketing, media relations and also through tie ups and partnerships with relevant partners and channels
- Create and develop retail product and experiences relevant to the evolving market needs
- Create the sales and marketing strategies and implement the same to meet revenue targets
Desired Candidate Profile:
- 2 - 6 years of experience in Sales in FMCG, BFSI, Media, Events, Travel, Hospitality, Leisure and luxury selling
- Graduate in BCA, BMM, BCA, B.Tech. /B.E., B.Com, BMS, or B.A. An MBA / Diploma in marketing and hospitality will be given a preference
- High comfort with web and web based technologies like blogging, HTML, Photoshop, social media and marketing etc. will be given considerable preference
- Proficient in MS Office - Word, Excel etc. is a pre requisite for the job and the candidate should have high proficiency in computers, written and verbal communication and presentation skills and great at negotiation
- A person who displays high leadership skills and the ability to innovate and be resourceful in creating the strategies to build a robust business. Should be able to multi task effectively.
