About Our Client

Our client is one of the leading companies in production and marketing of Polyester Films, Engineering Plastics and Specialty Polymers. Recognized as a significant market player, with a focus on innovation and development. They have been on an exponential growth path. They are currently looking for the Head Business Development for their specialty polymers vertical.

Job Description

Reporting to the Business Head, you will be responsible for:

- Contributing to formulation of business strategy and preparation of 1-3 year business plans and product strategies.

- Ensuring achievement of annual targets for profit and sales volume.

- Identifying opportunities to increase business in both the domestic and international markets.

- Identify opportunities to introduce new applications and commercialize them.

- Work closely with technical services , R&D, manufacturing and sales teams for effective product trials and rapid commercialization

The Successful Applicant

You will be a B.E / B.Tech in chemical or polymer engineering with a Management degree. You should have at least 12-15 years of total work experience. Prior experience in dealing with OEMs/ Converters/ Institutions in domestic and overseas markets is a must. A person with a CIPET diploma in Molding technology will be preferred. You must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, an analytical mind and should be capable of eventually embracing a multitude of potential roles
