The organisation:

Our leading multinational client is looking to put together what they call a ‘New Business Team’ to develop new lines of business for their organisation. With their headquarters in Germany and great success in India since the 1950s, the company is currently catering to automotive and industrial technology, consumer goods and engineering segments.

The client now wants to spearhead its products and services to entirely new business segments and invite applications from young and creative intrapreneurs to work with them as Managers/Sr. Managers – Business Development and cater to the following responsibilities.

- Will be part of New Business Teams (NBT) within the business development.

- The new business team will incubate new business areas for the company in non existing business lines.

- The person will become part of the core team that will drive identification of these opportunities.

- Conceptualize, own & drive specific Business areas with end to end responsibility

- To build a team around the business case and work across functions to execute on the plan.

- The incumbent will be measured on revenues & profitability generated while meeting other goals set for NBT as a group.

Location: Bangalore

Reporting to: Head-Business Development (India)

The person:

- BSc/B.Tech/B.E with an MBA/PGDM. PG degree from premier business school is preferred.

- Work experience of 7-12 years in strategy, business development and/or product management. Preference will be given to those who have worked in a start up business/business segment and across business verticals.

- Excellent communication and presentation skills.

- Should be highly initiative driven, enthusiastic and creative.
