For more information, visit embecta.com Purpose: The primary role is to ensure day-to-day HR is run smoothly in assigned countries, in compliance with labor law, but also in a way that fosters engagement from the employees. Beyond the day-to-day work, the HRBP is the go-to-person to execute our growth strategy, whether through external acquisition (managing M&A), launch of new product / hiring of new teams. On top of the local HRBP responsibilities, this role will serve as the champion for Talent Management Center of Excellence to drive Global initiatives and implementation within Asia. Job Requirements - Deliver/Execute HR imperatives that support the business needs - Serve as a trusted HR partner for the local leadership team on all local policies, processes, legislation and regulations - Be the point of contact for associates & managers on performance management, career conversation, hiring and employee relations issues - Implement locally / regional / global policies or processes such as performance process, annual compensation cycle, new way of working, I&D initiatives - Collaborate closely with and manage external providers such as local legal advisors, payroll provider, benefits providers, recruiting agencies - Streamline, simplify and optimize the local HR offering: first during the post spin-off period, but also going forward, and even more relevantly in case of future growth. - Ensure compliance, fairness & equity in all the HR policies, Benefits & incentives programs. Keep updated with market trend/insights to ensure embecta remain competitive in market - Establish a positive, engaging and conducive environment through structured communications and engagement with associates - Support in collating and coordinating relevant data on the region's talent activities to identify, monitor and report talent metrics - Represent the region and collaborate with Global team on talent management, Performance Management, Leadership Development, Employee Engagement and Learning & Development approach, process and technology. - Collaborate with external partners as required for region and business learning initiatives Experience: - Minimum 5 years' experience in a HR Partnering role, preferably in a commercial organization within Medical Device industry - Candidates who have prior experience in talent management field will have an added advantage - The ideal candidate is hands-on, willing to roll-up their sleeves and can navigate between the day-to-day and long-term HR initiatives - Have a strong understanding and knowledge of India HR practices - Good presentation, facilitation and communication abilities, both written and verbal English - Excellent operational skills, results driven, enjoys multitasking - Action oriented including the ability to work through change and ambiguity - Demonstrated flexibility in responding to business and environmental needs.
