Position Summary : Business Development

- Sponsorships and Revenue generation for B2B events, conferences, industry awards, and other lifestyle programs targeting the CXO community

- Finalize the media plan for promoting the events across relevant print (ET Editions, Corporate Dossier, ET Panache etc) and non-print properties (TV, Web, OOH)

- Ensure operational efficiency profitability & effectiveness

Experience :

- 8-12 years in sales experience selling sponsorships, branded content, B2B concept selling

Areas of Responsibility :

- Generate sponsorships for existing media properties.

- Solution pitches to B2B clients across industries and verticals that helps engage with their relevant audiences.

- Account and Relationship management for proposals, event pricing and timelines to drive engagement initiatives

- Work with prospective clients, understanding their strategies, USPs & target customers

- Extensively provide valuable inputs through client research on verticals/ segments/ key accounts for business development, inform about B2B platforms (forums, awards) nationally & globally, effective analysis & presentation

- Draft content & concept notes for business development opportunities as and when required

- Maintain close relationship with panelists, (subject matter experts, CXOs, industry associations, regulatory bodies such as CII, FICCI, NASSCOM, TRAI etc)

- Onboard Process Advisors and knowledge partners such as E&Y, Frost & Sullivan, Delloite, CRISIL and motivate them to come with award categories and processes that would act as a key differentiator for these properties

- Coordination with scheduling for date of coverage in media of the program

- Coordination with Legal team on getting the sponsorship documents, and covering all legal aspects.

- Ensure event is executed as per the defined budgets
