About the Role

BBA is expanding its research capabilities to cryptocurrencies and seeking to recruit a digital assets research analyst. The successful candidate will be a specialist with research and report writing experience in cryptocurrencies and digital assets. The candidate will conduct deep-dive research into the cryptocurrency market, analyze blockchain projects and token sales with the goal of publishing regular research reports to communicate ideas and themes. The candidate will be an independent thinker within a multi-disciplinary research team contributing towards the generation of actionable ideas and market analysis for the firm and its clients.

Responsibilities

- Conduct in-depth research of the crypto market and its components

- Perform code analysis and develop a scoring model for various crypto projects

- Write regular research reports to communicate ideas and themes

- Individual in-depth analysis of crypto assets and ICOs

- Track trends in crypto market structure evolution, blockchain tech innovation, and mainstream adoption

- Identify critical indicators for different assets in the technology/blockchain sectors

- Develop strategies and themes around cryptocurrencies

Skills/Experience

- Experience in formal report writing or article writing

- Knowledge of various cryptocurrencies and digital assets in the market place

- Demonstrated experience of investing in and tracking the crypto market

- Outstanding written and oral communication skills

- Knowledge about crypto market structure and participants

- Should be self-driven and detail oriented with an analytical mindset

- Should be a proactive and quick learner; a team player showing enthusiasm and drive to accomplish results in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

- Min. 4 years of experience technical, financial, security or analytical role
