About the Role :

BBA is expanding its research capabilities to cryptocurrencies and seeking to recruit a lead cryptocurrency analyst catering to needs of projects based in Switzerland. The successful candidate will be a specialist with research and investment experience in cryptocurrencies and digital assets. The candidate will conduct deep-dive research into the cryptocurrency market, analyze blockchain projects and token sales with the goal of selecting ideas that are expected to deliver superior risk adjusted returns. The candidate will be an independent thinker within a multi-disciplinary research team contributing towards the generation of actionable investment ideas for the firm and its clients.

Responsibilities :

- Conduct in-depth research of the crypto market and its components including traded crypto currencies and ICOs

- Develop a disciplined selection process to identify winning ideas

- Develop strategies and themes around cryptocurrencies

- Track trends in crypto market structure evolution, blockchain tech innovation and mainstream adoption

- Maintain databases tracking key indicators in the technology/blockchain sectors

- Write regular research reports to communicate ideas and themes

Skills/Experience :

- Demonstrated experience of investing into and tracking the crypto market

- Knowledge of various cryptocurrencies and digital assets in the market place

- Knowledge about crypto market structure and participants

- Ability to quantitatively and qualitatively analyze new blockchain startups through business model evaluations and tokenomics

- Outstanding oral and written communication skills

- Should be self-driven and detail oriented with an analytical mindset

- Should be a proactive and quick learner, a team player showing enthusiasm and drive to accomplish results in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications :

- Min. 4 years of experience technical, financial, security or analytical role
