Area Sales Manager/Territorial Sales Manager
Primary Responsibilities :
- Formulate sales strategy for assigned territory, develop sales forecast, budget and manage his/her team; directs distributors and /or sales force to achieve sales targets; pursue major prospects and lead in major negotiations as well as recommend appropriate terms of sales.
- This involves working with distributors, construction firms, plumbers, contractors and architects in accordance with established company policies, planned sales volume goals.
Specific Responsibilities :
- Manage distributors/ dealers.
- Identify newer avenues of business
- Responsible for collection in time and follow-up of out standings
- To ensure healthy product mix in line with the organizational goal
- To ensure a healthy realization of the sales volume activities.
- Manage the inventory at the depot level.
- Track competition volumes and monitor competitor activities to evaluate brand performance.
- Tracking distribution and sales performance on monthly basis
- Ensure Brand Basics of brands across all channels
