Bayer - Manager - Foreign Trade

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Ensure preparation of Export Documents, taking booking from shipping companies, arrange empty containers for stuffing, loading of the containers, preparation of pre-shipment and Post shipment documents and submission to the bank, follow up for payment realization.

2. Ensure timely clearance of Import consignments thereby achieve savings on the additional non-operating cost such as penalty, interest, ground rent and demurrage in the clearance of consignment. Also provide the raw materials to the production department without any delay and finally no sale loss.

3. Checking, recording the noting the discrepancy in the N/n documents and immediately informing the concerned stakeholders before arrival of the consignment so as to avoid the amendments post arrival of the consignment.

4. Timely arranging the required funds and making the online custom duty payments.

5. Ensuring urgent clearances in case of consignments imported by air so as to avoid the demurrage and cater to the urgent dispatches of such consignments.

6. Close co-ordination with the BCS Himmatnagar plant for bonding of consignments and planning / providing the schedule of dispatch of materials to be timely ex-bonded thereby ensuring production is not affected.

7. Ensuring the formulation consignments samples are timely drawn and follow up for the test report release so that the materials can be sold to the end-users.

8. Timely application of new advance licenses and revalidation, closure of these license with DGFT and Timely cancellation of lut- bonds with customs .Regularizing excess Import against advances licenses by payment of Custom Duties in case of ratified advance licenses. Ensuring the MEIS licenses of BCSL & BVPL are timely and fully utilized within the validity period

9. Always nominating the import consignments to the nominated CFS thereby saving on the ground rent charges.

WHO YOU ARE:

1. Commerce/Science graduate with PG diploma in export-import management /MBA.

2.Thorough knowledge of computer applications.

3. 9-12 years in foreign trade management & logistics.
