Investment Associate

Job Description:

Bay Capital is looking to hire an investment associate for its Mumbai office. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about understanding various businesses and enjoy both desk-based research and interactions with management teams and promoters across the country. You will be working in an experienced and high performing research team and are expected to be a self-starter.

Role:

- Understand the key business drivers at the company as well as industry level

- Build detailed financial model and forecasts

- Deep dive into the segmental and operational analysis

- Identify issues and questions for the company management

- Arrange, visit, and conduct meetings with company managements

- Present conclusions through models, reports and presentations

Qualifications:

- MBA/PGDM from a tier 1 business school or CA with 2-3 years' experience

- Prior experience in research (sell side/buy side) or consulting is preferred

- Strong financial statement analysis background

- Solid financial modelling skills in Excel

- Excellent communication skills with proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Word
