Strategic:
- Creating and executing a strong ROI driven performance marketing strategy & execution plan.
- Bring in effective and efficient Through the Line (TTL) marketing approach.
- Responsible for delivering marketing objectives, sales strategy, revenue growth and brand portfolio augmentation and ensure executional excellence between ideation and implementation.
Business Enablement:
- Establish effective marketing research process to gather customer insights
- Track competition, market, consumer & product trends and make recommendations to all key stakeholders (marketing, operations, product development and sales teams) based on analysis and feedback.
- Create monthly and quarterly reports outlining goals, opportunities and threats.
Operational Control / BI / Analytics:
- Actively support revenue and sales targets.
- Develop a strong sales interface and use BI and Analytics to drive sales and distribution strategies.
- Leverage BI and Analytics to enable/push sales from all channels (including MBOs, EBOs, LFS, On-line, B2B etc.) and the ability to spot the strategic impact on the overall business (besides sales) from each of these.
Branding & Communication:
- Act as the Brand Custodian. Conceptualize and implement an appropriate and consistent brand positioning strategy.
- Develop an innovative marketing strategy and execute plans to launch each brand/product including effective B2C schemes and promotional initiatives to maximize customer acquisition.
- Decode and position products in a manner that resonates with the Indian consumer - across all touch points (consumer proposition, pricing & overall customer experience).
- Support and contribute to the strategy definition for the products ensuring alignment between the marketing strategies and the volumes target defined by Sales.
- Monitor and enhance effectiveness of various marketing programs and reviewing achievements against revenue targets.
- Oversee Advertising, Media Planning and PR agencies.
