Job Description for Brand Manager : Brand strategy & Planning : - Experience from digital marketing communication, new launches, brand management, ATL and BTL activities in hair care & skin care brands. - Assisting in business plan for the category. - Have an acute awareness of brand principles and goals. - Conceptualizing and developing the brand strategy (ethos, brand values and purpose of being, brand architecture, visual communication strategy, selling model, competitive strategy and differentiation. - Conceptualizing the product strategy, tangible and intangible attributes, packaging design, pricing, promotion, distribution etc. - Communicate monthly/quarterly/half-yearly/annual brand marketing plan to all relevant departments. - Creative development with PR Agency - Briefing and ensuring all the creative marketing elements are developed as per category requirement. - Involved in creative planning of the Advertisement. - Promo Creations and Planning. - Experience of coordinating with Vendors and getting them onboard around the globe. New Product Development : - Develop new product line with differentiation on a product with higher ASP, Margin and Premiumization. - Collating consumer feedback for pre (samples) and post launch of the products for improvements if required. - Benchmarking of products in the market and extract claims & issues in the products so that effective and premium products can be developed. - Gathering competition intelligence so that product benchmarking and effective strategic decision can be made on time. - Understanding consumer requirements and feedback so that these can be incorporated in the new & existing products. - Looking out for new and creative packaging designs and onboarding the manufacturers around the globe. - Carrying out concept validation & product performance etc. researches in co-ordination with research department/agencies where required.
