Overall Job Purpose :

The Project Manager acts as a Project level lead co-ordinating with a large number of stakeholders to ensure that the activities required in order for executing a migration are completed in line with the Overall Programme Plan and migration frameworkMaintain project plan for the Programme. The job holder is expected to be skilled at carrying out end-to-end project delivery

Key Accountabilities Send Project Activities :

- Ensure that all elements of the stream delivery align to the Migration framework

- Manage Due Diligence process ensuring that all dependencies, risks & issues are captured and highlighted

- Work with Target Operating Model (TOM) team to ensure that Org Model and critical path for completion of process mapping and key stroke completion are known and published

- Where required with or without the help of a Business Analyst - carry out process analysis to identify and areas of improvement or automation so that the project benefits may be increased

- Ensure that the Project deliverables are agreed keeping in mind the parameters such as resource requirement, budget availability. Basis this one should negotiate the project delivery dates, scope of delivery, the level of support required from Operations and Support team

- Where the Project delivery requires the involvement of 3rd parties to support a project then the Project manager should remain fully involved with Sourcing while the Statement of work and SLAs are finalised

- Manage the Change Request process ensuring that any deviation in plans or budget are escalated to programme lead and PMO - who may internally discuss this with stake-holder to either utilise the contingency budget or re-scope the project to ensure that there I no scope creep and the business case may be maintained

- Where there are significant changes to the Project scope the Project manager must carry out an impact assessment and discuss with the Accountable Executive the need for increased resources (Budget/people) along with the impact on timeline which is agreed then keep progressing else agree on the trade-off (negotiate as per project priority)

- Manage the relationship with key stakeholders (Compliance, Data Privacy, Operations Risk etc.)

- Manage progress throughout migration lifecycle by documenting the successful completion of activities for each sign off stage and the eventual closure of the project

- Create Presentation packs for the Project Steering Committee and present these in the Toll-gate meetings highlighting the Budgets, RAIDS, progress so far and any opportunities which have arisen for greater synergy/success across other projects or business areas

- Obtain sign-offs from all required stakeholders, in order to provide assurance and an audit trail for the programme - RACI Matrix

- Manage the Migration Framework ensuring all Exit Criteria has been met for the relevant stage of the project

- Manage the budget for the migration ensuring in line with approved CTA. Approve spends within the provided authority. Make recommendations for project spends to the Project Sponsor/Accountable Executives who can then approve the spend as per the Signing authority set out in the bank

- Manage and maintain all mandatory artefacts BOD (Produced by receive team with the coordination of Send Manager) / SSA / SOW/ SLA / BCM Plan (testing)

- Logistics Send and Receive (desks, application set up, mailboxes, phones, hotlines, printing requirements)

- Send Manager Weekly Reports

- Inputs into Master Transition Plans

- Set up and chair all sign off calls and co-ordinate closure and sign off on any caveats / issues raised at these meetings

- Weekly KTT Scoring/Governance/Cutover and Go Live Assessment

- Manage relationship with receive manager for function - JLM, BOD and handover of activities at Cutover with Project lead to remain with Send Manager.

- Manages the Post Implementation Review and close down activities

Experience :

- Relevant experience 8-12 years

- Past experience must include at least 2-4 years of Project Management experience if not directly in Business Transitions Domain

Qualifications :

- Minimum Graduate

Preferred :

- Post-Graduate/Management qualification

- International Project Management certifications such as PRINCE2

Additional Requirements : On an ad hoc basis, the role may require travel to India and occasionally overseas where Projects/Programme demands
