Banking Operations Role - Mutual Funds

Position: Banking Operations

Responsibility:

- To manage banking process for Mutual Fund operations, more specifically

- Collections for lumpsum purchase / NFO applications through various modes i.e. Physical Cheque, RTGS/NEFT, Fund Transfers, Online, UPI etc

- SIP collections through e-mandates, direct debits, NACH etc

- Timely payouts viz. redemption / dividend/ brokerage etc through various modes i.e. Direct Credit, RTGS/NEFT, Cheques, Demand Drafts etc

- To liase with banks and ensure queries raised by reconciliation team are timely resolved, data/information/statements are timely received and in required format.

- To manage relationships with all banks with whom the AMC has business relationships.

- To ensure SLAs with service providers viz. banks, aggregators, RTA etc are delivered.

- To coordinate with branches & reconciliation team for confirming high value credits and resolution of pending queries.

- To explore new products introduced by service providers in the banking space, evaluate them.

Experience:

- 7-8 years of experience in banking operations preferably in Mutual Fund business

- Good understanding of banking operations i.e. Cash Management, RTGS/NEFT, NACH, UPI etc

- 4-5 years of managerial experience i.e. have managed team, process and service providers.

- Good communication skills both spoken and written

Qualification - Post graduate, MBA
