Manager - Legal  Legal Risk Management  Evaluate the impact of all major changes in the law and assesses the impact on the policies and operating procedures  Review and provide legal advice on product notes, process notes, operation flows.  Liaise with relevant departments to ensure that where legal risks have been identified, appropriate courses of action have been taken.  Provide legal protection and risk management advice especially on contracts.  Regulatory Compliance  Formulate compliance check-lists for compliance of all the contracts and applicable laws relating to financial services  Contract Management  Draft and update templates for the new and existing business models, products & services  Prepare, review and modify contractual instruments to assist and support various business activities.  Negotiate, review and draft documentation for business transactions  Focus areas of responsibility:  Legal advisory and contracts management (Contract Drafting, vetting, negotiations and interaction with internal stakeholders)   Regulatory support (Research, analysis, interaction with external lawyers, regulators and compliance)  Risk management (Risk identification and mitigation)  Desired Skills & Experience  - Excellent academic credentials and LLB from a top law school  - Minimum of 5 years legal experience with at least 3 years at a top-tier Indian law firm  - Demonstrated experience advising clients in a wide variety of subject matter, including corporate, regulatory, privacy, tax and employment law  - Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage several simultaneous projects under pressure  - Must be flexible to extended working hours when necessary to complete projects in a timely fashion  - Excellent interpersonal skills and stakeholder management  - Excellent English written and verbal communication skills  - Exercise good judgment and provide practical solutions  - Open to travel as and when required
