Banas Dairy is Asia's largest Dairy, under the Brand name AMUL - The Taste of India. Banas Dairy's peak daily milk procurement is around 70lakh plus and soon expected to touch 100 lakh litres of milk daily. Established in 1969, with operations spread across 8 states, 3600 employees, 4.5 lakhs producers and recent turnover around 18,000 crores and is growing for past several years. We are looking to add a leadership role aligned with the growth.

About Banas BioCNG plant:

The Banas Biogas Plant is a state- of- the- art facility that transforms organic waste, particularly cow dung, into biogas through anaerobic digestion. This process involves breaking down organic matter in the absence of oxygen, resulting in the production of methane- rich biogas. The plant not only helps to manage waste effectively but also provides an alternative income source for farmers by purchasing cow dung at one rupee per kilogram. By efficiently managing the digestion process and adhering to strict environmental standards, the Banas Biogas Plant contributes significantly to sustainable energy production and waste management efforts in the region.

Qualification: Bachelors in Environmental/Chemical / Mechanical Engineering

Regarding Key Decision:

- Plant maintenance: Scheduling and prioritizing maintenance tasks for optimal plant operation.

- Fertilizer production: fertilizer production for PROM and compost and utilization biogas produce.

- Amul parlor handling: lead and handle Amul parlor at Dama plant.

- New initiative decision: Assessing feasibility and impact of new projects akin to dung- based initiatives.

- Dung quality control: Monitoring and ensuring the quality of dung used as feedstock.

- Labour and contractor payment: Managing timely and fair payment to labour and contractors.

- Fertilizer production optimization: Enhancing processes for efficient fertilizer production.

Job Description:

- Oversee the current BioCNG plant operations and maintenance.

- Actively participate in new projects such as the dung- based hydrogen plant, dung- based paint initiative, cow urine project, and solar- related initiatives.

- Coordinate with key partners for our new biogas plant projects, including Banas, Suzuki, and NDDB.

- Explore new technologies relevant to biogas plants.

- Serve as a member of the land committee for biogas plant projects.
