Job Profile:

We are actively seeking an adept and detail-oriented individual with a passion for procurement and a keen focus on quality to join us as the Regional Head of Sourcing for the Delhi NCR region at Bakul Fresh Agritech Pvt. Ltd. In this crucial role, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring the highest standards of quality for our fruits and vegetables. The role demands unwavering commitment to quality control, exceptional organizational skills, and a readiness to engage in early morning activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Supplier Management:

- Identify, assess, and onboard reliable suppliers for fruits and vegetables.

- Negotiate terms, conditions, and pricing agreements with suppliers.

Procurement Strategy:

- Contribute to the formulation of the region's procurement strategy for fruits and vegetables, aligning it with the organization's overarching goals.

- Monitor market trends, pricing fluctuations, and supply-demand dynamics to adapt the procurement strategy as necessary.

- Identify opportunities for cost savings, process optimization, and sustainable sourcing practices.

Quality Assurance:

- Establish and uphold quality standards for fruits and vegetables.

Timely Reporting:

Report to the mandi for purchase activities at 12 am, maintaining meticulous records of all transactions and purchases.

Inventory Management:

- Effectively manage inventory levels, optimizing stock to minimize wastage and maximize freshness.

Compliance:

- Ensure strict adherence to all relevant regulations, standards, and health and safety guidelines pertaining to procurement and food handling.

Requirements:

- Willingness to travel - 100% (Required)

- Early Morning Shift

Qualifications and Skills:

- Bachelor's degree is mandatory (preferably in Business, Supply Chain Management, Agriculture, or a related field).

- Proven experience in procurement, supply chain management, or related roles, preferably within the agriculture or food industry.

- Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.

- Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis tools.

- Ability to work independently and adhere to early morning reporting schedules.

- A strong background with 8-10 years of experience, preferably in Agritech, FMCG, E-Commerce, or Retail, is preferred.
