Job title : Sr Manager - Research
Reports to : National Head - Market Planning and Insights

Location : Corporate Office, Pune
Position summary: To use research as a means to manage and modulate the brand's voice among key stakeholders in line with the company and marketing strategy
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop, design and manage the overarching research framework for the company
- Design and execute specific research requirements for various products and services
- Use research to identify actionable insights for the organization
- Use research to identify key drivers of preference, consideration & image
- Run the insight mining and brand tracks to help organization prioritize efforts and initiatives
- Create and develop research stimulus
- Manage research calendar
- Ensure translation of research brief into desired output
- Budgeting and Reporting
- Maintain accounts and report periodically
- Track and update various research tracks across all initiatives
- Ensure timely revert to all parties at all stages
- Anticipate, identify and highlight potential project roadblocks
- Research Agency and stakeholder coordination
- Primary interface with the research agency at all stages of research activity
- Control hygiene processes at the research agency
- Manage suppliers of research services (internal and external) to ensure efficiency and effectiveness of overall marketing effort.
- Actively cultivate and manage relationships with teams across businesses to support relevant dissemination of research output
- Assess and monitor performance against marketing objectives, metrics and budgets.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- MBA with 6 years of experience in a research agency
- Must have worked on developing the overall research strategy for a marquee brand
- Multi-sector experience/ exposure

- Possess the knowledge to devise innovative research strategies to meet desired objectives and outcomes
- Ability to multitask & work independently in a fast-paced environment and have the organizational skills to lead/execute communication strategies under tight timelines.
- Ability to maintain composure during crisis situations so as to provide well-informed and strategic recommendations to senior management to resolve/mitigate issues.
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to write clearly and succinctly in a variety of communication settings and styles.
