Job Title : Chief Risk Officer, Risk - B2B business

Reports to : Enterprise Risk Officer

Location : Pune (Corporate Office)

Position Summary :

- Formulation of Risk policy, Dissemination & Adherence of Risk Policy across markets, managing distribution risk, maintaining loss rates within budget for all Consumer B2B businesses namely Consumer Durables finance, Life style Finance, Digital Product finance as well as managing commercial exposures to channel partners. Also includes managing end to end line assignment and monitoring for in house close loop card currently having CIF of 8 million.

- BFL is dominant player in consumer finance and volumes of loans here are in range of 10 million p.a. currently and expected to go upto 20 million p.a. in next 3 years, the job requires sharp analytical skills, data orientation, retail consumer behavior understanding and managing line for customers.

- With dominant size in industry, BFL also plays a role in being a - Banker- to its channel partners who are dealers of large size and repute, assigning line to these relationships in terms of Channel Finance as well as long term finance for meeting their growth capital also forms integral part of the job.

Duties and Responsibilities :

Products to be managed :

Consumer Durable, Life style Finance, Digital and DDF :

- Establish and maintain relevant credit policies, risk monitoring structure and portfolio quality standards for CD, LSF and Digital.

- Managing loss rates within budget and Working closely with RCU to minimize fraud risk

- Ensure continuous improvement/enhancement to systems (SFDC & Finnone) platforms by identifying gaps proactively.

- Building framework to continuously assess and evaluate system capabilities to eliminate operational loss

- Monthly interaction & feedback mechanism with collection team to get ground level feedback on market/portfolio

- Support business in various initiatives and promotions by enabling business growth.

- Drive continuous improvements in analytics capabilities and enhancements in the use of risk models & analytics tools

Working capital finance- Trade advance, Retailer Finance and Advance card receivables :

- Responsible for formulating, implementation/dissemination & adherence of risk policy for the above working capital products for all consumer businesses (CD, LSF, REMI, DIGITAL).

- Travel to locations to understand market and refine and upgrade policy as per market requirement and after risk assessment

- Managing distribution risk

Managing Line - EMI Card, Retail EMI Card :

- Managing proactively current CIF of 7 million plus close loop store cards having active line with monthly transaction volumes of 500 cr plus, CIF is expected to grow to 10 million plus on next two years, the lines are open for transactions on all purchases in overall retail eco system hence managing distribution risk in terms of store presence and proactive management of distribution risk

- Manage line and actions basis customer and portfolio behavior

- Manage multiple product finance lines within this franchisee

- Manage and assign line on identified prospect base

Required Skills& Experience :

- Should have minimum 12-15 years of experience in lending business with specific experience in retail consumer finance.Experience in line management in credit card would be preferable

- Exceptional skills in understanding data, trend analysis, score cards and behavior scores is must

- Excellent Team Management & Interpersonal Skills.

- All-round understanding of consumer loan products and credit cycle management framework, including product structure/ packaging, regulatory requirements, consumer lending business & market dynamics, key risk & revenue drivers, product profitability, performance analysis

- Should have excellent communication skills along with strong presentation and data analytics skills.
