Now we have the below Opening for a Territory Head for Morphy Richards, our premium Kitchen Appliances Division in Chennai, Bangalore and Udupi.
Position: Territory Head - Morphy Richards Sales
Reporting to: Area Head - MR Sales
Location: Chennai
Job purpose & Scope :
To manage Sales, Sales Promotion, Channel, Stocks, Debtors in the assigned territory with the objective of achieving the short term and long term goals of the Region.
Major Areas of Responsibilities
1. To achieve Sales targets directly, through distributors and Sales Personnel of the distributor.
2. To execute the distribution plan of the territory.
3. To maintain and nurture good business relations with distributors and retail trade partners.
4. To forecast Sales and set targets per distributor.
5. To accompany distributor Sales personnel for order booking on rotational basis (2 weeks / month ) on a pre-determined cycle.
6. To investigate and monitor retail outlets contribution per distributor in order to achieve the required outlet share and retail objectives.
7. To establish stock norms with distributors per market and ensure stocking levels.
8. To implement Sales promotion campaigns, product launches, demonstrations, displays etc.
9. To provide product knowledge and on-the-job training to distributor Sales personnel.
10. To provide monthly report on each distributor in the territory.
11. To provide market information and feedback on competitor schemes / offerings and product quality and reliability.
12. To ensure product visibility on shop shelves.
13. To promote Institutional Sales.
Essential Qualification: Any Graduate
Desired Qualification: A post graduate Diploma in Sales & Marketing is essential
Experience: 1 - 8 years of experience in selling directly or through channel sales - preferably from Kitchen/Domestic Appliances/ Consumer durable/FMCG/Telecom/Paints/Tyres industry with experience in handling distribution channels in the mentioned Locations.
