Job role : Drive the agenda to grow the sales channels profitably by supporting them with long term channel strategies and short term marketing tactics.
Major Area's of Responsibilities :
Channel Strategy :
- Sets short- and long-term channel sales strategies
- Liaising with sales channels and driving support and growth plans
- Coordinates development of sales and marketing materials required for channels to be successful
- Manages potential channel conflict with other sales channels by recommending process interventions and tactics
Schemes/Activation planning and execution, post scheme analysis
- Recommends product or service enhancements to improve customer satisfaction and sales
- Evaluates effectiveness of partner programs and improves upon them
- Plans and executes schemes and activations
- Does a post analysis to determine learnings for future programs
Category Penetration in channels
- Business growth from key channels,
- New product Placement,
- ASP increase through "High Ticket value" product mix sold
Inventory planning and alignment to sales
- Actively ensuring supplies by studying market demand closely with channels and providing inputs and corrections in Sales and Operations Planning meeting
Margin overview
- Maintains overall margins for all categories by consolidating view on overall category and business margins
Person Specifications
Essential Qualification: Technical Graduate preferred
Desired Qualification: MBA preferred
Experience: 5 - 10 years post qualification work experience
Industry Preference: FMCG/FMCD/CE
