Position: Manager Function/ Dept: Internal Audit Reporting To: Senior Manager Job Summary / Deliverables: 1. Testing of effectiveness of internal controls (Operational / Financial) 2. Perform and carry out internal audits of various functions of Insurance Company. 3. Identify process improvements and control gaps and suggest appropriate remedial actions 4. Conduct special reviews / audits based on request of senior management. 5. Improve the audit methodology, audit process and documentation. Core Competencies required for the role/profile 1. SOX Testing 2. Internal Audit skills 3. Knowledge of audit and accounting standards 4. Ability to document audit work performed and findings as per generally recognized audit documentation standards (either IIA or ICAI) 5. Knowledge and experience of risk based audits (desirable) Educational Qualifications: (Desirable/Mandatory) CA with 2-4 years of experience in the area of Internal Audit and preferably having experience of SOX testing. CIA will be an added advantage Skill Sets (If any): 1. Good command over English 2. Good verbal and written communication skills 3. Ability to work independently 4. Ability to interact in a corporate environment in a professional manner with peers and superiors
