Job brief: We are looking for a Payroll & Compliance Specialist. You'll work to ensure our payroll expenses and taxes are paid correctly and statutory compliance is taken care of on time. Our ideal candidate is analytical and methodical, with experience in payroll administration and deep knowledge of payroll regulations, PAN India statutory Compliance and labour laws.


Key Responsibilities:

- Complete ownership of the payroll process & PAN India statutory compliance remittance.

- Managing Payroll related legal & statutory Compliance (Tax, PF, ESIC, PT, LWF & Minimum wages etc.)

- Good experience on working with different payroll tool & HR tool ( If ZingHR then plus)

- Generate UAN and ESIC numbers and ECR's fillings

- Collection and coordination of payroll inputs and auditing of payroll input data once received from the different, different location RM's.

- Managing employee benefits programs.

- Various Statutory remittances to the concerned Authorities as per calendar, 100% compliance.

- Taking care of Investment declaration and proofs checking and updating.

- Form-16 activity & TDS payments.

- PAN India registrations and records maintenance under various labour laws.

- Performing Annual PMS exercise (salary revision, rationalisation & performance pay calculations).

- Responsible for various MIS reports like (Payroll MIS, Head count, attrition, wage cost state wise costing etc.).

- Monitor systems and methods, recommending and implementing necessary changes.

- Ensure compliance with relevant laws and internal policies.

- Liaise with auditors and manage payroll tax audits and internal and external audits.

- Maintain accurate records and prepare reports.

- Resolve issues and answer payroll-related questions in a time bound manner.

Job Requirements :

- Minimum 3-5 years' experience in Payroll & PAN India Compliance.

- Strong knowledge and understanding of both state and federal employment laws.

- Excellent excel skills.

- A demonstrated commitment to high professional ethical standards in a diverse workplace.

- Ability to adapt to a fast paced continually changing business and work environment while managing multiple priorities.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Google sheets and multiple payroll and compliance software
