Roles & Responsibilities
- Create and review the controls needed for data accumulation and reporting systems
- Prepare projected & actual cost sheets in co-ordination with project manager
- Oversee cost control methods & implement project costing
- Co-ordination between various departments to ensure all costs are monitored.
- Estimating new product costs
- Prepare monthly & Annual Budget & forecasts for the company.
- Review and set a budget within departments.
- Review standard and actual costs for inaccuracies and their causes (Variance Analysis)
- Recommending cost-effective solutions
- MIS Reports: prepare adhoc reports as and when required.
- Ensuring smooth & uninterrupted functioning of Accounts Dept (Cost Control)
Requirements Qualification & Skill Set:
- Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree / ICMA Inter / CA Inter with 5 years of Experience or ICMA with 3 years of experience.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles
- Proficiency with computer software
- Strong maths skills
- Highly developed attention to detail
- Ability to work independently
- Strong Team Player
- Strong time management & analytical skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure
