Axis Bank - HR Compliance & Governance Role

About the Department :

The HR department handles a range of different functions within an organization like hiring & recruiting, training and development, compensation, developing & overseeing employee benefits, promoting employee career development and addressing current employee concerns. The HR Department is responsible for finding talented manpower and placing them in right jobs in the Bank

Key Responsibilities :

- Understanding and delivering on all labour law compliances across all branches of Axis Bank. Ensuring timely payment of PF, PT, LWF, etc.

- Applying for all relevant certificates / licenses / exemptions for any new branch, relocation or even during renewal.

- Filing of returns at required frequencies to the respective authorities.

- Ensure no deviation to RBI regulations as well.

- Ensuring all employment terms and conditions are followed.

- Ensuring no deviation against any act and work towards avoiding any kind of penalty/ prosecution .

- Corporate governance. Knowledge about rules across different states related to employee & employer Knowledge of Central rules and regulations related to employee & employer.

- Liasoning with required statutory authorities or as directed

- Ensure returns/remittance filing under various acts

- Responding to Notice from Authorities and ensuring closure on the gaps, if any

- Analysis of trends in HR Compliance and devise corresponding action plan

- Prepare documents for HR Audit from various authorities and ensure closure of inspection

- Handling of query from internal as well as external customer and provide satisfactory reply

- Creating MIS as and when requested

Desired Profile :

- Expert in Labour Law interpretation & compliance knowledge

- Relevant experience of 5-7 years

- Must know the preparation of documents for Audits

- Should have done liasoning with authorities

- Able to work under strict deadlines
