Axis Bank - Head - Product Management - IIM/ISB/MDI/FMS

Job Description:

1. Manage the affluent portfolio of products and manage the product performance: sales, margins, sourcing quality and customer satisfaction over the entire product life cycle.

2. Project management of all product integration/launches changes throughout implementation

3. Maintain bench-marking analysis

4. Conduct surveys to identify emerging needs of customers, assess the perception of product and features

5. Identify, present and execute innovative and creative product solutions

6. Manage the P&L of the product and Affluent Business

7. Lead the development, approval, training, communication of product changes and their associated customer, operational, process and systems impact

8. Display a high level of critical thinking in cross functional process analysis and problem resolution for existing products

9. Coordinate and build strong work relationships with various internal groups: other product teams, IT, Sales, Marketing, Operations, Risk, Compliance, Process Quality

10. Monitor the internal processes for efficiency and validity pre and post product changes

11. Develop and implement a company wide go to market strategy plan for the new products

Project management

- Cross functional/Industry expertise - Work with different stakeholders across the bank to execute concepts, designs, etc. The candidate should be able to co-ordinate with different stakeholders to get the work done

- Interpersonal capabilities and good written and verbal communication skills

- Ability to understand concepts and covert them into tangible deliverables

- Ability to multi task and work independently for taking rational decisions

- Analytical skills - Using extensive data analysis and work with the business intelligence unit to back all product, portfolio and customer engagement related decisions

- Presentation skills (PPT)

- Sound Excel skills

- Academic Qualifications/Nature of Relevant Work Experience Required : Preferably an MBA from a Tier 1 B-School

- Retail banking experience or customer engagement roles in telecom industry preferred
