Axis Bank - Environmental & Social Management Expert

Axis Bank is keen to hire Environmental Safeguards Specialist with experience of working on Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) & Environmental Management Plan (EMP).

He/ She should have expertise in Environmental, Health and Safety Audits of Sector specific projects, Compliance Monitoring w.r.t. Statutory conditions, applicable laws and legislations and as per Lender's commitment.

He/ She should have experience developing and implementing environmental and social policy framework for the Infrastructure projects like Power, Roads and Highway, Ports project, and non infra projects like Mining, manufacturing, Greenfield chemical projects etc.

Additionally, he/she should have expertise of working on implementation of Social Policies, labour related laws and legislations, Conflict Management, Cultural Heritage Management, Grievance Redressal, implementation of social management and welfare activities for the people in the vicinity and Project Affected Persons (PAPs).

He/She should have actively worked in the Project/Plant Sites and have closely monitored implementation of Corporate Social Responsibility Plan, Tribal Development Plan, Resettlement and Rehabilitation Plan. He/She should have Master's Degree in Environmental Sciences from an organization of repute.

Deep Understanding of applicable E&S Law of the land, equator principle, IFC performance standard is must. He/She should have Master's Degree in Environmental Sciences from an organization of repute.
