About Wholesale Credit: The Wholesale Credit department in the Bank is a Credit Underwriting department for all Large/ mid and SME clientele of the Bank. It is also responsible for ensuring the maintenance of a good portfolio quality and for ensuring smooth credit appraisal processes. About the Role: The analyst should be well versed with analysing financial statements/knowledge of financial ratios/credit analysis/understanding of credit applications. The role also involves Credit monitoring through regular client interaction. Key Responsibilities - Carry out credit assessment of proposals emanating from CBG and Agri departments with focus on preparing comment sheet pointing key risks which would enable the sanctioning forum in decision making. - Perform client visits to evaluate the credit health of the borrower and identify problem accounts in advance and suggest remedial actions. - Evaluate sector trends and its impact on the portfolio Qualifications: Optimal qualification for success on the job is: - Graduate with MBA/CA / CFA Role Proficiencies: For successful execution of the job, the candidate should possess the following: - Should have worked in credit / Risk team in Large Corporates / Mid Corporates / SME / Retail Department - Good verbal communication &amp; Drafting skills.
