Job Title - Project Manager

Mandatory Requirement for the position - Working experience in SAS and managed at least two SAS Analytics projects

Job Description / Responsibilities -

- Facilitate the definition of project missions, goals, tasks, and resource requirements.

- Lead planning and/or implementation of projects. May participate in the design and/or testing phases.

- Should have managed at least two SAS analytics projects and should have worked technically on technologies live Java, J2EE, Struts, Websphere etc.

- Knowledge in preparing / developing project schedules, estimation, establishing measures and milestones, definition, scoping, tracking etc

- Develop methods to monitor project or area progress, and provide corrective supervision if necessary.

- Interfaces with personnel internal and external to department to support and implement production systems or business solutions.

- Facilitates complex technical or business analysis processes such as resolving complex system problems or business system procedures in order to maintain efficient operations.

- Manage project budget and resource allocation.

Desired profile of the candidate -

- Experience as project manager in a software development environment.

- Experience with full-cycle project management of software development projects.

- PMI certification

- Knowledge of Project Management Practice procedures and tools.

- Self-motivated, a proactive approach with an analytical, inquiring mind and willingness to learn.

- Should have sound understanding of concepts and principles in project management.

- Should have understanding and experience of Configuration / Change Management, Governance, Issue and Risk Management, Planning and Scheduling, Communication Management, Stakeholder Management, Supplier Management, Estimating Techniques

- Competence in Windows based tools (Outlook / Word / Excel / PowerPoint / Access)
