AXA XL - Assistant Manager - Investment Compliance

- Responsible for the successful implementation, ongoing maintenance and surveillance of investment guidelines. This includes investment guidelines covering Issuer, Portfolio, Legal entity, Group level Frameworks driven by the Internal, Group or relevant regulatory scheme.

- Interpretation of investment Guidelines and coding of investment restrictions into Aladdin compliance workbench.

- Responsible for ensuring the highest standard for investment restrictions monitoring on daily basis and reporting of investment exceptions of Fixed Income, Non Fixed Income accounts to respective groups.

- Daily monitoring (Pre trade/Post trade) of rules to check exceptions, detailed research, Identification of Active/Passive breaches, timely treatment and reporting to the Managers for timely resolution.

- Troubleshoot complex excel based reports and create new / re-engineer existing reports using Qlikview, Business intelinge tool to achieve maximum efficiency.

- Support Manager- Investment Compliance in implementing AXA Group Level Compliance checks and CoE control framework.

- Preparing monthly/quarterly compliance reports using inputs from various systems, these reports are used by Senior Management for decision making.

- Handle business queries regarding investment restrictions for new and existing compliance rules.

- Closely work with various Investment teams and colleagues on a global basis, especially Portfolio Managers, Steering Team, Global Stratergy, Financial Risk Management, Operations.

- Work on Ad-hoc requests of unique kinds including performing pre-trade what if compliance testing.

- System Used: Blackrock Aladdin, Bloomberg, Qlikview, Microsoft Office.

We- re looking for someone who has these abilities and skills:

- Bachelors/Master's degree in Finance/economics with 3-5 Years of experience in Invesment related Roles.

- Cleared CFA/FRM (Any level) is desired.

- Deep knowledge about capital market and Investment instruments with respect to global financial environment.

- Hands on experience of MS Excel, Qlikview will be highly preferred.

- Ability to switch priorities and flexibile to work in changing environment.

- Must have strong analytical skill with innovative blend of mind.

- Ability to troubleshoot a complex query related to Pre/Post trade compliance, Financial Risk Management and other investment related areas.

- Must have strong analytical skills to quickly understand, absorb and implement business intelligence tools in day to day work.

- Clear and concise style of verbal and written communications.
