Job Title : Assistant Manager

Reporting To : Deputy Manager/Manager
Operational Responsibilities :
- Participate in training sessions and get accredited within the timelines as per expected standards.
- Ensure smooth operation and meeting all delivery parameters; building strong relations with partners.
- Ensure robust governance mechanism within the process
- Ensure timely and equable work allocation.
- Provide closing signoffs on monthly basis.
- Ensure Expertise and Autonomy on own areas.
- Ownership of all IFC & control / audit framework.
- Ensure Training & Accreditation and knowledge maintenance of the team.
- Timely escalation of issues and follow-up on open issues ensuring closures.
- Creation and maintenance of SOP and ensuring the process is followed on consistently a
- Ensure overall efficiency of the processes and Lead and implement required changes in the processes.
- Produce accurate reports with required analysis.
- People and performance management.
Transitions :
- Be responsible to participate in the transition of the process and will be involved in making the training plans, learning the process, documenting, creating the SOP's, participating in designing the to be communication matrix, learning the process and then training the juniors, create a training and accreditation plan for the junior trainees and leading the trade recovery process.
- Will be responsible to transition a sub process on his own.
Domain Expertise :
- Asset servicing and Trade entry: Knowledge of trades (Listed Securities: Equity, Fixed Income, OTCs, Listed Derivatives, Loans, Private Equities, Participation, Real Estate, Hedge Funds etc.), Corporate actions and Non-Trade entries on SAP .
- Cash and Position reconciliations of the financial products and research & resolution of discrepancies.
- Interaction with Banks, Custodians, Treasury departments for resolution of reconciliation items.
Managerial Responsibilities :
- Manage a team of process leaders/team members (people issues, hiring, retention, performance management etc.)
- Lead and motivate the team to facilitate achievement of key performance indicators.
Service Level Management :
- Responsible for service delivery for his/her own work and by team on agreed key performance metrics of turnaround time, quality, etc.
