Procurement Manager

Looking for an experienced Procurement Manager to manage the company's supply of products and services. Procurement Manager responsibilities include strategizing to find cost-effective deals and suppliers. The Procurement Manager's duty is to discover the best ways to cut procurement expenses, so that the company can invest in growth and people.

- Devising and using fruitful procurement and sourcing strategies

- Discovering profitable suppliers and initiate procurement partnerships for IT and non-IT products including consumables, office equipment, F&B, etc.

- Negotiating with external vendors to secure advantageous payment and delivery terms

- Finalize purchase details of orders and deliveries

- Examine and test existing contracts to ensure favourable terms of deliveries, payments and SLA

- Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness

- Collaborate with key people in the organization to ensure clarity of the specifications and expectations of the company

- Foresee alterations in the comparative negotiating ability of suppliers and clients

- Expect unfavourable events through analysis of data and prepare control strategies

- Perform risk management for supply contracts and agreements

- Control spend and build a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs

- Prepare, review and ensure adherence to standard operating procedures and ensure statutory compliance

- Monitors business trends and product availability to pay the best price for company goods and services without sacrificing quality or delivery times

- Identifies and researches potential new suppliers and nurtures relationships with suppliers to negotiate the best prices for company

- Develops and implements strategies for procuring, storing, and distributing goods or services and maintaining stock levels

- Operate independently, take ownership and drive results

- Well- developed interpersonal skills to build positive working relationships across functions within the organization
