About the Role : You'll lead Awaaz.De's business expansion efforts to become the dominant mobile communication partner to the Financial Inclusion industry. Your focus will be to rapidly acquire and grow business with new Financial Inclusion clients, particularly top-30 Microfinance players in India. Key Responsibilities : - Source leads from existing relationships and outreach via events, LinkedIn, targeted email campaigns, and other content marketing campaigns. - Build and nurture relationships with clients and industry leaders. - Pitch senior management at prospective clients with Awaaz.De's solution. - Negotiate and close commercials and terms with multiple client stakeholders for both new and existing partnerships. - Collaborate with the Client Success (CS) team to smoothly onboard, retain, and grow newly-won accounts. - Lead design and improvement of sales/marketing collateral such as case studies and pitch decks. - Understand, share, and prioritise client and end user needs to help Awaaz.De improve product/service offering. - Pitch and gather feedback from clients on new product/feature prototypes. - Manage, coach, and recruit BD team members to acquire and grow client relationships. Does This Sound Like You? Critical requirements for the role (Must-Haves) : - Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the Financial Inclusion sector in India, ideally in a business development role. - A strong network of C-level contacts at top-30 Microfinance players whom you can pitch. - Experience managing small teams. - This position is expected to travel 20-40% of the time within and outside Mumbai/Bangalore to client offices, client field locations, and Awaaz.De's Ahmedabad HO. Preferred Requirements (Nice to Haves) : - Credit, Product, Customer Service, Operations, Risk, and/or Field Audit experience at top-30 retail --Microfinance players (banks, SFBs, MFIs, NBFCs and/or BCs), at VP, AVP, DVP, or Sr. Mgr. level. - Experience working in a startup environment requiring hustle and self-direction. - Tech/SaaS sales experience.
