Role: Senior Data and Digital Program Manager

Key part of this role focuses on application and data platform development for enabling advanced analytics, the role includes collaborating with other members of the team to get the information about business requirements or end-user needs. Understanding of data requirements, consolidating and documenting data from various source systems, modelling, transformation and storing in a warehouse (Cloud Native Data Lake Tech stack, OLAP cubes, SQL, NoSQL, Data Marts, etc.) and developing Business Intelligence applications using third party visualization tools or custom built apps.

Primary Responsibilities:

- Independently designs and builds complex dashboards spanning a variety of data sets

- Performs data quality-control and debugs workbooks

- Key contributor to data-best practice education efforts and data visualization standards across digital solutions

- Consults with business and operations teams to document reporting requirements for large-sized projects and creates design documentation

- Work with senior development manager/business analysts/architecture team members understand the requirements and develop solutions.

- The person will be responsible for managing several concurrent high visibility projects using agile methods in a fast-paced environment that may cross multiple business divisions

- Enterprise-level responsibilities include Leading and managing large, medium enterprise-level projects. The projects may consist of multiple agile teams and require integration with other activities outside the scope of the agile teams

- Work closely with internal customers to define value driven features, design technical solutions and collaborate on end user testing. Serves as liaison between the Development team and the Product Owner(s). Work with Product Management Leaders daily to review all initiatives and issues and discuss how they impact the overall business

- Ensuring successful delivery of meaningful, valuable products and features. Managing relationship & expectations throughout the business

- Propose and develop architecture, methods and procedures for the successful implementation of ETL solutions, i.e. requirements documentation, development, testing, implementation strategy and deployment.

- Investigate and resolve problems on selected modules and standard implementations.

- Learning to apply appropriate tools to analyse, identify, and resolve technical problems.

- Maintain security, integrity, and business continuity controls and documents.

- Build knowledge on emerging tools, techniques and technologies.

Required Skills / Experience / Knowledge:

Education

Degree in Information Technology / Computer Science/Business/Math/Statistics/data science, or similar discipline.

Experience

12 to 15 years of experience in application development, Experience in building green-field BI/reporting solutions from inception to delivery in projects. Experience of project management, agile principles, agile project management tools and SDLC process.

Must Have

- Hands on expertise with SQL/NoSQL databases and data mapping.

- Experience in BI Tools

- Solid understanding of and demonstrated experience in using appropriate tools:

- Agile Project Management tools such as Jira, Active Collab, Version One or equivalent

- Microsoft Project, Visio, and all Office Tools

- Excellent oral and written communications skills and experience interacting with both business and IT individuals at all levels including the executive level

- Creative approach to problem-solving with the ability to focus on details while maintaining the big picture view

- Ability to manage tasks in an assertive, efficient and timely manner.

- Experience working with database analysts to develop alternative solutions for meeting complex reporting requirements.

- Good experience with database structures & design

- Data analysis expertise. (Data modelling, mapping, formatting and data analysis expertise).

- Experience working in Linux server environments

- Familiarity with version control systems (Git, SVN, etc)

- Excellent Problem solving skills with innovative and proactive approach.

- Agile software development, JIRA, Wiki, Crucible

- Experience following industry-accepted design standards

- Strong debugging and analysis skills using database tools

- Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated the ability to build professional relationships.

- Ability to work individually in a team and across geographically dispersed teams A good team player.

- Predictive Analytics modeling experience

- Intermediate experience using a data visualization tool Looker, QlikView, PowerBI, others
