Our client is a manufacturer of fine jewelry, supplying to leading retailers and designer brands in the United States, Europe, Australia, Japan and South Africa. It is a family run concern employing nearly 1,100 people across multiple facilities in Mumbai, with sales operations in Europe and the United States.

PURPOSE:
Manage and improve processes of sales planning, pricing, customer service, quality of customers and products in order to maximise margins and customer satisfaction.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITY:
- Create and Monitor annual Business plan of all regions.
- Liaise with Sales Team, External Agents, Vendors, Local and International Designers and PD Team.
- Help in Pricing, Structure and Negotiations.
- Work out feasibility study with production to achieve required VA and VA/HR. Study Customers and Competitors.
- Attend Trade Fairs and visit customers if required.
- Follow up with cross-functional teams
- Provide Raw Material and Production Forecast to respective teams
- Study supply and Sourcing to identify opportunities
- Budgeting and profitability study
- Monitoring the outstanding
- Set ECGC Limit
- Account Reconciliation/Memo
- Help to clear the stock inventory for Finished goods as well as loose stones
- Prepare MIS Reports
- Recruitment
- Training & Development needs for the Team
- Team Growth & Performance
NETWORK:
- External: Customers, Sales Agents, Exhibition companies, Advertising Agencies.
- Internal: Directors, Production team, PD team, Sampling team and Direct reports
SKILL:
- Good presentation and analytical skills.
- Team management, intellectual and entrepreneurial skills are preferred.
- Should be open to travel for up country as well as international visits.
- Excellent communication skills preferred (written & spoken).
- Ability to handle large retailers internationally.
QUALIFICATION, KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE:
- Graduate in Engineering or Commerce only. Post Graduation/MBA in Sales and Marketing shall add an advantage.
- Candidate from the Jewelry Background preferred.
- 10-15 yrs of experience in Sales and marketing (B-2-B), Minimum Experience of 5 years in the field of Jewelry is a must.
- Experience in USA market shall add an advantage.
