Specific Responsibilities:

The candidate will be responsible for driving the retail/Lc1 market for the company. Retail markets are towns with population less than 1Lac. The major area of focus would deeper and wider reach along with driving revenues and ensuring channel placement with minimal carriage. The candidate will work closely with the existing Affiliate Relations team who does the monitoring of the channel placements.
Candidate will have large team of around 50-60 members out of which around 25 are on the rolls of third party
The growth path for the candidate would be that once he has established the business for around three years, he would have an opportunity to handle big MSO's and operators.
Key Challenges:
- Establish new LC1 business, complex market dynamics and quick tat of project; manage large team based at remote locations.
- Working along with distributor for sometime before we start to manage the show with our own internal team.
- Competition has already an established business in lc1 hence we need to make way for ourselves into the markets.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Academic Qualification: MBA
- Years of Experience: 15-20
- Special skills / Competencies: Leadership Skills, Negotiations, Process orientation, Eye for detail, Business Acumen
- Personal characteristics / Behavior: Team player, Strong at interpersonal skills and relationship Management, Aggressive at driving teams for results
