- The purpose of the role is to be Responsible for Identifying and building business opportunities with potential partners in the e- commerce space. Growing and managing the existing relationships with web aggregators, online brokers & fintech players.
- Set up, nurture and drive relationships with aggregators and other e commerce players
- Own the P&L for the Online Sales channel
- Increasing share of business with each aggregator/partner through constant engagement and innovative business propositions
- Look at end-to-end go live of the partner for the business fulfilment within pre-defined timelines
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure that adequate support is provided to the partner for running the business.
- Delivery of a robust engagement plan leading to a robust sales funnel.
a) Prospecting, managing and driving sales from partners
- Provide product expertise and process know how when dealing with prospective partners.
- Smooth On boarding of new partners
- Ensure effective and smooth relationship with assigned partners for growth of business.
- Influence decision making at all levels for prospective and current partners.
- Maximize the share of business with the partner.
- Participate in partner discussions to value add in the needs based consultative process to help meet the partners financial goals
- Mapping opportunities with each partner, looking at incremental opportunities through campaigns, cross-sell or new products.
- Monitoring performance of the partner on ongoing basis.
- Achieve the sales targets for each partner.
b) Coordination with internal stakeholders to ensure a robust engagement with the partners.
- Be on top of the administrative/operational process or payment related issues with partner.
- Establish a mechanism for timely and comprehensive resolution of partner queries.
- Get internal alignments and readiness for campaigns, new launches or new initiatives.
- Ensure co-ordination between various cross functional stakeholders to maintain smooth functioning of the channel partners.
- Ensure that business logged gets issued.
c) Track market, competition and evolving trends
- Track the customer journey on our website and on regular intervals compare it with customer journeys of competitors.
- Provide competitive intelligence and evolving trends.
- Engage with tele-callers on regular basis, train them on product, handle objections specific to the competition.
Decision Scope
- Strategic and structural decisions to be taken in conjunction with EVP & Head - PD.
- Adhere to all regulatory requirements
- Report all complications and exceptions
- Ensure no exceptions in audit
- Adherence to distance marketing guidelines
- Documentation of Standard Operating Procedure & workflows.
