- The position is primarily responsible for designing and driving the marketing plan to maximize revenues, idea generation via market, partners, team and competition research and create a plan basis market size, distribution roll-out, revenue and costs & budget sensitivities.
- Creating the brand strategic roadmap to reach business objectives ( Market share, GRP projection)
- Developing, planning and overseeing executing communication efforts to build reach and buzz around the brand
- Direction setting for consumer insights and program control and strategy team for understanding category and consumer insights and translate the same in FPC planning
- Drive innovation and disruptive thinking for the brand
- Support sales for better monetization
- MBA - Sales & Marketing from Top B-School (IIMs/ ISB/ MICA/ FMS etc.)
- 12 - 15 years of experience in marketing for a high growth company. Preferable sectors FMCG, Media, Telecom
- Experience with consumer facing company with national presence is essential
- Analytical skills would be strong
- Technically savvy, with very good communication (written, verbal and email etiquette)
- Ability to evolve methods, approaches and philosophies to accommodate expectations
Position is for a large media group based out of Kolkata and knowledge of Bengali and interest in Bengali movies is a Must
