AVP/VP - Legal Entity Reporting - Bank

AVP/VP - Legal Entity Reporting with a leading global bank - Female Candidates Only

Our client - a leading Global Bank is looking for an AVP/VP- Legal Entity Reporting as a part of the Legal Entity Control Group within the Financial Control function who would focus on, but not limit to, financial reporting (including monthly, quarterly and year-end audited financial statements and presentation) and be involved with external/internal examinations and audits and also work on initiatives in the legal entity Control space as and when required

Responsibilities:

- Perform monthly close of certain balance sheet and income statement accounts, including substantiation and sign off

- Prepare monthly legal entity variance analysis.

- Coordinating the FR Y-11 and FR 2314 reporting process across all Business Units for both financially consolidated and non-consolidated legal entities as required under the Bank Holding Company Guidelines

- Lead the team through the quarter-end and year-end reporting processes which include monitoring the progress of the filing and researching accounting issues to ensure accurate reporting

- Track the filing status and follow up with stakeholders to ensure the in-scope entities FR Y-11 and FR 2314 reports are prepared in accordance with the Federal Reserve Board's instructions and timelines

- Lead and preparation quarterly Due Diligence meetings with Senior Management and regional legal entity controllers

- Maintain and document policies and procedures for all reporting processes and when necessary, close gaps and implement process improvements

- Participate in legal entity IT initiatives to streamline the reporting processes

- Team lead for Risk and Control Self-Assessment process

- Coordinate responses and documentation required by regulatory exams, internal audits and regulatory reporting quality assurance reviews

- Develop remediation plans for findings issued during regulatory exams, internal audits and regulatory reporting quality assurance reviews

Requirements:

Qualified in Finance or Accounting- CA/CFA

- 8 to 15 years of experience in Financial Reporting/Legal Entity Reporting

- Strong understanding of and experience in US GAAP financial reporting
