AVP/VP-Investments for a Realty Fund

Deal Execution :

- Independent transaction management capability from start to finish. Ability to lead & motivate the analyst & teamwork with peers in the support functions like legal, risk & operations would be critical.

Investment Management/Monitoring :

- Post investment, management of the investment, regular monitoring & progress & course correction measures taken as well as value added to the investment.

- The manager must spend time visiting new markets in line with the investment strategy of the fund & existing markets to get better understanding of the same so that the underwriting process is faster.

- Based on the markets knowledge & relationships with intermediaries, investee companies identify new categories of investments where the competition has not yet made foray

Commercial Instincts :

- Commercial instincts, transaction structuring & lateral thinking will be considered in evaluation for progression & additional responsibility

Motivation & initiative :

- The manager will be evaluated for his/her level & ability to take new initiative & take additional responsibilities. Self drive & keenness to build franchise & new skills are qualitative aspects which would be considered.

Deal origination :

- The manager's deal origination skills and market intelligence skills evidenced thru live & bankable transactions is a key input.
