AVP/VP - Investment Banking - Deal Origination Infrastructure Sector

Looking for AVP / VP Client Coverage - Investment Banking, Mumbai.

- 5 - 6 years of exposure into Investment Banking in Deal Origination Infrastructure sector with in-depth understanding of Private Equity / M&A transactions including Commercial and Financial Due Diligence.

Role: Leading Investment Banking Deal Sourcing and execution (PE, M&A, Structured debt/Mezz.) within Infrastructure Sector. Candidates with Deal Sourcing & Origination experience along with P&L responsibility shall be given preference.

- Sourcing & on boarding of new clients.

- In depth understanding / Research covering Transportation Infrastructure & Logistics sectors covering investments & financing aspects

- Ability to lead Commercial and Financial Due-diligence of M&A/PE and Structured Debt/ Mezzanine transactions

- Investment appraisal including strong Analytical skills including Financial modeling, Valuation (DCF, Relative Valuation) etc.

- Preparation of Marketing documents including Information Memo, Marketing Collaterals, Industry mapping/ Outlook/SWOT Analysis

- Relationship with Private Equity/Sovereign Wealth & Pension/Infrastructure focused Funds, AIFs, Strategic Investors & Structured Credit Funds/NBFCs/IDFs

- Assisting in execution of binding agreements, negotiations/deal closure

- Business Development - Industry Mapping / Client Mapping /Deal Sourcing

- Knowledge management / Team management / Thought leadership skills in the infrastructure sector

- Conduct market research to identify potential business opportunities, Sourcing of new mandates from clients.

- Develop relationships with new and existing clients/investors/lenders to expand the business and meet them for new business development.

- Conducting research to find companies looking to acquire/ sell, Preparing information memorandum.

- Running sell side and buy side mandates.

- Contacting the potential buyers/sellers.

- Studying term sheets and shareholders agreement, Transaction Support Services Business and financial due diligence.

- Business, assets and company valuation, Deal structuring and regulatory analysis.

- Negotiation support and transaction implementation, Business and financial modelling

- Vendor due diligence and post-deal assistance.

Desired Candidate Profile

- Chartered Accountant/ CFA (USA)/MBA in Finance from a reputed university with min of 5+ years of experience in Investment Banking.

- Preference to candidate with strong analytical skills, an attitude to come up with solutions and out-of-box thinking.

- Must have good connects / network at impact levels with large Corporates / Private Equity / Investment firms.

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, Ability to work independently,

- Knowledge of the Indian Investment Banking business landscape is preferred Experience working with Advisory firms / Private Banks is expected.
