AVP/VP - Investment Banking - Consume Goods/FMCG Sector

Leading Foreign Investment Bank is seeking an AVP/VP-Investment Banking for their Consumer/FMCG practice in Mumbai.

Position reports to the ED and Head Investment Banking

Main Accountabilities :

Assist in Originating deals :

- Synthesize information for M&A clients (including its markets, products and competitors) and transactions

- Take lead in preparation of pitching materials

- Participate in client pitches and client meetings

- Analyse customer's needs to develop pro-active solutions (together with senior team members)

- Support senior bankers in the creation of new M&A ideas leading to pitches

Executing deals :

- Contribute to the execution of transactions on pre-defined parts

- Write information memoranda, valuation reports and management presentations

- Take lead in valuation work and all analytical aspects of M&A execution and analysis

- Coordinate due diligence processes

- Responsible for preparation of IMs for sell side projects

- Maintain contact with external parties during the execution process

- Safeguard the quality standards of execution

- Responsible as a Compliance officer for the RIS entity from a regulatory perspective.
