AVP/VP - Infrastructure & Security - KPO

Summary: Lead the India Technology team to support business operations and drive client results, direct and manage information security, IT infrastructure and operations across all organization locations including strategic plans, policies, programs, Technology budgets and schedules to accomplish corporate goals and objectives. This role is critical to the continuous development of an employee-oriented company culture that emphasizes client satisfaction, high quality, continuous improvement, and high performance.

Key Results and Outcomes:

Leadership

- Lead the Technology Infrastructure and Information Security function for organization's operations globally

- Understand the business operations to effectively communicate with and influence clients through RFPs, business meetings, ISO audits on technology infrastructure, information security and data privacy to drive business growth

- Support practice leads, project managers and key stakeholders to enhance technology capabilities and solutions

- Manage the Technology team, document and update all technology and security processes for internal and external purposes

- Drive innovation and automation to support and enhance our business processes

IT Infrastructure

- Develop strategic plans and implement the objectives of the information technology needs of the company to ensure computing capabilities are responsive to the needs of the company's growth and objectives

- Evaluate and identify appropriate technology platforms (including cloud and web application frameworks and the deployment stack) for delivering services

- Ensure smooth operations of IT systems (IT applications, software, servers, networks and processes)

- Forecast present and future hardware needs of the company including decision to maintain systems in house or outsource,

- Build partnerships with technology providers to drive efficiency and effective adoption of new technologies and automation

- Plan, budget and maintain a detailed inventory of all IT Infrastructure as well as a detailed account of configurations

- Manage connectivity across facilities and users globally

- Oversee changes to existing computer systems and software packages

- Establish company infrastructure to support and guide individuals/departments/locations in computing and information technology efforts

Information Security

- Manage organization wide information security governance processes and lead the information security program

- Lead development and implementation of policies and practices to secure protected and sensitive data and ensure information security and compliance with relevant legislation and client requirements

- Develop, implement and administer information security standards, as well as security services and tools to address and mitigate security risk

- Assess risks, threats for each IT asset in the context of the organization

- Ensure security systems and firewalls on networks are implemented

- Network Security and implementation of adequate anti-intrusion systems/firewalls etc.

- Ensure continuing ISO 27001:2015 certification for the organization

- Create education and awareness programs and advise operating teams on security issues, best practices, and vulnerabilities

Business Continuity Planning

- BCP, setting up Disaster Recovery facilities and data retrieval systems. Facilitate business continuity by providing IT services required to support critical business processes

Skills and Experience:

- Proven leadership experience in a high client engagement business environment

- Track record of collaborating across lines of business and functions

- Knowledge of information technology systems and the ability to manage the complete IT stack of technologies and operations. Should have exposure to systems and networks including firewalls, anti-intrusion skills

- Experience in handling third party vendors

- Experience with implementation of information technology integration

- Strong written and verbal communications

- Ability to collaborate closely with stakeholders from different disciplines and positively influence client relationships in furtherance of business objectives

- Strong Stakeholder and Supplier Management Experience

- Ability to motivate teams, to work within tight timelines and manage multiple locations / projects

- Inquisitive and in tune with shifts in technology
