AVP/VP - Finance - Manufacturing Firm

We are looking for a Finance Leader (a qualified Chartered Accountant) with over 15+years experience in Strategic Financial Planning & Control, Stakeholder Engagement, Budgeting & Forecasting and People Management.

Location : Mumbai

- Must be excellent in leading finance functions involving determining financial objectives, designing & implementing systems, policies & procedures to facilitate internal financial controls

- Strong Finance Acumen with skills in formulating annual budgets and conducting variance analysis to determine difference between projected & actual results and implement corrective actions.

- Must have a track record in contributing to the success of company progression and amplifying business margin through long-term & short-term financial planning. In-depth understanding of SAP, ERP and MS Office. A strategist with recognized proficiency in spearheading business to accomplish corporate plans and goals successfully

Key Responsibilities :

- Balance sheet, P&L account including supporting statements w.r.t variances for identifying concern and suggest improvement

- All India Receivables, review of outstanding debtors and critical debtors and exception reporting.

- Perform Credit appraisal for determining credit limit allocation for associated risk management

- Working capital for Marketing Zones for all business- Cement, RMC and BPD.

- Reviewing ageing statement of current assets/liabilities submitted by zones and ensures timely write backs/Write offs.

- Preparation of Unit wise P&L, Sales and Freight Tally of Books vs MIS

- Ensuring preparation of Cost & Tax Audit Report, working of Advance Tax and Provision of Tax for zones, data for Tax Assessment

- Working on compilation of data with respect to IndAS, Companies act like MSME, exclusions to companies deposits

- Managing all India outstanding recovery plans for overdue and critical receivables

- Contributing towards validating cases required for higher level trade credit limit in line with SOPs and business requirement

- Functioning as a Head for balance sheet consolidation of Marketing Zones, Credit Assessment & Credit Control

- Steering efforts in reviewing and compiling quarterly formats and notes to accounts

- Automation and Digitization of projects in the finance department
