AVP/VP - Equity Analyst - BFSI

Role Investment Analyst | Grade: Associate Vice President / Vice President

Work Location : Mumbai

Reports to Head of Equities

- Research Analytics in PMS / Wealth Management / AMC (Mutual Funds) / Sell Side

- Research domain in Chemicals/ Pharma/ Materials/ Midcaps would be added advantage

- Manages 30-40 stocks across sectors.

- Has experience in managing small to mid-cap stocks. Experience in micro-cap stocks is not relevant.

- Demonstrates some decision-making ability. (This would be evaluated in depth during the interview)

Job Description :

- Understand the current broader equity market and sectoral trends.

- Assist Fund Manager/Fund Management Team in analyzing companies

- Create forward looking view on equity markets, IPOs, sectors and equities

- Client Portfolio Reviews and management of equity portfolios

- Liaison with wealth managers and provide support and analytics to W.M.s

- Analytics for Equity PMS and Client portfolios, and management of investment models

- Data and analytics from Bloomberg and Reuters

- Regular interaction with Investment and WM teams

- Prepare reports on companies, investment thesis

- Knowledge of Wealth Spectrum would be an added advantage.

- Help with macro analysis on economic data, global data, inflation, growth etc

- Prepare detailed presentations and reports on funds, investment outlook

Key Role Requirements :

Education : BA / MBA in Finance | CFA Level 1 preferred

Experience Minimum 7-8 years of relevant work experience in Equity Research
